WARRANTY CLAIMS

At DCON Renovations, we are dedicated to providing high-quality workmanship. Our 5-Year Limited Warranty reflects our commitment, but please review the following details to understand what is and isn’t covered:

DCON’s 5-Year Limited Warranty Details

Warranty Coverage:

  • Labor Quality: We warrant the quality of our labor for five (5) years from the date of installation. Any defects in workmanship will be addressed at no additional cost to you.

Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from Acts: Negligent, reckless, or deliberate acts by the owners or visitors.
  • Water or Plumbing Issues: Damage from water, moisture, or plumbing leaks, except for plumbing work directly performed by DCON Renovations.
  • Building Settling: Cracks in walls, seams in woodwork, metalwork, sheetrock, or gaps in wood flooring due to building settling.
  • Subfloor Problems: Issues with flooring related to the building’s subfloor.
  • HVAC Systems: Problems related to the building’s heating and cooling systems.
  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including floor finishes, paint, or other applied finishes.
  • Discoloration: Discoloration of paint, polyurethane, or stain.
  • Tub Reglazing: Tub reglazing is not covered under this warranty.
  • Repairs: This warranty does not cover any repairs; only full replacements are included.
  • Temperature Control: Gaps in wood flooring or other materials due to temperature control issues are not covered.
  • Restoration: Restoration work is excluded from this warranty.
  • Elevators: Residential elevators are not included in this warranty. The warranty is provided directly by the elevator contractor.

Appliances:

  • Appliances: Appliances purchased through DCON Renovations are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties, not by this 5-Year Warranty.

Post-Completion Work:

  • Grout and Leveling:  This warranty does not cover grout installation, silicone installation, painter’s caulk, or the leveling and straightening of tiles, flooring, or walls after project completion.
  • Void Warranty: Any additional repairs, construction, demolition, renovation, or remodeling done to the remodeled area during the warranty term will automatically void this warranty.
