Project Description
This extensive renovation of a Brooklyn townhome included both structural and aesthetic upgrades. The project involved a complete gut-out of the interior, backyard and basement excavation, and installation of retaining walls. Structural repairs were made to the party wall, rear façade, and shifted floor joists. The home was modernized with new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, including a full 200-amp electrical upgrade. Special features include two kitchens, five bathrooms, two laundry rooms, and high-end finishes throughout. A key element of the project was restoring historical elements, including the grand entryway, while introducing modern conveniences such as closets, spray foam insulation throughout, a new roof, and custom finishes. The exterior was enhanced with rear façade stucco, steel decking, and horizontal privacy fencing.
